...and this little stretch of water is called 'The Dingle' with its pretty little cottages lining its side and runs from Lymm Dam towards the Bridgewater Canal and if we turn right here we will still find the Pub lol! - in fact if you turn left you will find one too - now I am seriously thinking about moving into this little village! :)

The cottages are lovely and their reflection in the water is beautiful. It's a very pleasing post with perfect clarity and composition. Make the turn and let's hit the Pub ;) Well done Patti. Thanks for this one.

Nice clear shot. Can you see it from that garden we stopped at. If not, I'll just download this to remind me of what a beautiful place it is.

*throws in my two cent's worth* I agree with all above, and I also wanted to say that I love the different colors on the doors, I don't think anyone else said anything about that. The building has such a nice "cottagy" (if that's a word) feel to it, that it made me chuckle to see the bright doors..maybe that's for when you've hit both of the pubs and you can always tell which door is yours by the color :) I would need the bright yellow one there on the end. You've done a great job of presentation here, really nice :)PJ

You and your pubs. I am beginning to wonder about you. You and Bob need to get together and go "Pub Hubbing" (oh, that was good. Came up with that all by myself).
What a beautiful setting. I am still left blank as to the meaning of the word Dingle. That word here is associated with "dingleberries" and I won't tell you what those are! Ha! Excellent composition.

I'm with PJ, I love all the different colored doors! Beautiful gardens along the canal, too. Add in the reflective images and a waterfall and it all makes for a GREAT photo!

So lush and green; it appears peaceful. The houses seem to welcome the viewer. It must have been a perfect day.
