...this photograph is also taken from the little village of Eyam in Derbyshire - it is one of the pretty cottages which dates back to the 17th century. The sign in front of the cottage tells the grim history. This is one of the most beautiful villages I have visited.

What a tragic but wonderful history. I wonder if anyplace today would do the same. Well done, Patti.

Such beauty now reflects so much courage and selflessness back then. Wonderful, Patti!

Very pretty cottages Patti. I just love their architecture and the way they have their yard looking so pretty with the climbing rose and other flowers. Such history here.
