...I took this photograph from the bottom of the hill one afternoon when I went for a stroll and left everyone else zzZZZing in the sun, but could I do that? no! 10 mins and I am bored, so off I go with camera in hand heading down hill towards the sea, through the unspoiled land and down to the rocks - it was easy, it was all downhill! ... and it was worth it - I sat on the rocks by the sea and was pleased with myself for making the effort and was rewarded with some really lovely photographs of waves and the sea breaking against the rocks. Seeing as I had just mentioned I was going for a walk, I thought I better make tracks and return, it was getting very hot and was mid-afternoon. Looking up the hill I was wondering if I had had one mad moment too many - it was a very steep climb back! lol! I was heading for one of the round villas on top of the hill to the right! I made it eventually but nearly melted in the process - I don't think I have ever had sweat run into my eyes before!! lol!

Awesome Patti. Perfect composition and clarity and the angle is terrific. I loved all the white on the buildings in Spain and see it's still the case. Picture perfect here and thanks for sharing this majestic view.

What goes down must come back up! lol I'm with you..who likes to sleep while on vaca in the middle of the day! I would have done the same thing..except maybe I would have waited for a boat to take me back to grab a cab to take me back up! LOL Beautiful shot Patricia! What great looking scenery here! Your personal sacrifice is our gain, Patti!! Wonderful image so rich in detail. It looks like a great place to stay. I can't wait to see your other photos now of the waves and the sea. I pack a washcloth in my backback just for sweaty eyes with the heat here - not uncommon but nasty! :)

What a lovely shot. Good composing and clarity. And thanks for that chatty, fun narrative. Those white houses are interesting..did you stay in one? Everything appears so fresh and clean - but boy, what a steep climb! Pretty clear blue sky - must have been a perfect day. Good job Patti, love your images :*>
