.....and that is exactly what it was today - a beautiful sunny Autumn day and this is the path I just walked from Lyme Park in Disley Cheshire, through the woodland and into the open countryside - sooo turn around, follow me and we can keep going - we are only a third of the way up this hill - breath in that wonderful fresh air and admire the views. :)

It's neat to imagine being there with you, Patti - almost in real time, since this is fresh off the press! Glorious is a great description of this beautiful scene! Tell me there's a pub at the end of this one, too, ok?LOL Well done!

It does indeed look like a perfect day for a walk Patti. With scenery this pretty who wouldn't mind a few extra steps to the top of the hill to see this beautiful countryside?. I know I wouldn't . Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You've captured its beauty perfectly.

Now, that's purty. I like how the darkness on the right immediately throws the viewers eye into the beautiful scene in the middle and on back into the composition. Nice work.
