....ok! you have had anough peace around here! I'm back! ...and now you can see where I have been visiting - the beautiful town of Salzburg in Austria (I thought it was a city but was corrected) - home of Mozart and film location of the Sound of Music. I wonder why everyone in Salzburg is wearing earplugs this week! lol! My hotel was right amongst the old churches, and museums you can see on this photograph ...lots more to post, so be prepared to be bored by my enthusiasm for this beautiful location. ;)

You were right. Salzburg is a city. It is even the capitol of Salzburg, the county of Austria. You made a great photo of this town, which I do not like that much, since it is so expensive and people look down to people, who do not look rich.

aww Sabine! It is beautiful and I found the people very friendly, especially the people who owned the hotel and I did not spend a lot of money either - I suppose I am good at finding bargains! ;) I bought sandwiches from a lovely little shop at 2 euros each and sat on the river bank in the mid-summer type weather (cloudless skies for 2 days) - unbelieveable weather for this time of year, especially as they had snow last weekend!

Welcome back Patti :)

A great picture this is - you captured it just at the right time when the lights were glowing and before it got too dark. It looks a most interesting and beautiful place.

Excellent image of the riverfront in Salzburg. Great colors and clarity. I think we stayed in the same hotel and crossed the foot bridge near by to get into old town. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate when I was there. Thanks for the post.
