....and yes I would skip the return home and buy a house here - imagine waking to a view like this every day and it must look magical in the winter too! This view was taken from the side of Wolfgangsee in the little village of St Gilgen, Austria. Now you see I don't always follow - although our group was only 9, I decided to wander off and take some photographs on my own and then caught them all up in a little cafe where we had scrumptious Austrian cake and strong coffee!! mmmmmm! ..and thank you to Hans for helping me with the contrast on this photo.

Wow..and who could blame you for it either? The kind of scenery you have shown us here..one could get used to living there real quick! I didnt know Austria had so much to offer but you have shown me differently! I'll bet Julie liked it too! ;-)

This is such a serene view, Patti. Very well composed and lovely contrast work by Hans. I can see why someone would want to live there - very nice!!

It certainly is a peaceful composition, and I'm glad you brought us down by the water so we could enjoy it in a closer view, even if you did have to stray from the "pack"...and Hans did a great job on the contrast..you two are becoming an unbeatable team. :)PJ

It is such a lovely shot Patti, yes i would not mind living here myself as well.
The sun does lit those hill tops on the left of the image very well, what a sight.
In summer, the scene looks more lifely, with a lot of watersport action going on, and of cource the colors are warmer and deeper then.
(if you have more images wich need a little adjusting, do not hesitate to upload them)
