........and lost in thought! as I always am! lol! This view over Redesmere Lake as the sun was coming down and setting it all aglow was a sight I would defy anyone not to enjoy! These moments happen rarely as Autumn is coming to an end - we need to be out there at the golden hour when there are cloudless skies - this photograph was taken yesterday. I was hoping it would be like that today too but it became overcast and the moment had gone. Now I am working all week, so unless I escape for a while when no-one is looking ....well it isn't going to happen!! lol! I hope that some of the Autumn colours will still be here next weekend for me to photograph. Hope you enjoy this image from Redesmere Lake in Cheshire (especially as I was trespassing on the fishing members only ground! shhhh! lol!)

A lovely image with so many details, like the ducks on the left side. The colors are wonderful and I am sure, we all will soon miss those golden days very much.

A nature setting including water/lake or river does it always for me, views like these wants you to get out and make more pictures. A 10/10 image, thanks for posting it !

Wow! You go from one awesome scene from another country to one from near your own home! Beautiful capture Patricia; the sky is so nice and blue with those fair weather clouds mixed in it, & the way you framed the lake with the reeds and branches..well lets just say..you got another winner on your hands here! Next time bring a fishing pole with you! LOL C):-) *

Very peaceful and the ducks think so too Patti. They look totally content....as would l if I could just sit there and enjoy the view. Excellent clarity and composition. Thanks for this one.

That settles it !! I just really need to come back and find some of these lovely places. :)
I really like this - especially the way the reeds are being blown by the wind. Lovely scene and a great presentation.

This is fantastic Patti! I think the overcast sky and windswept reeds set this off perfectly! Very well done..=)

Very nice, love the wispy grass. So you snuck through the entranced area? Did you go out the exit?

Technically, your photo is picture-perfect in all ways. Now that it's up on my DT, I can just enjoy it and say WOW, Patti did a GREAT JOB!! If only there was a way to get you out of the office now during the week .... :))

This is a keeper. What a clear gorgeous presentation. The geese on the water is delightful. the perspective just grabs the eye on the left and guides you right on around to the other side of the photo where more beauty awaits. You know, when I see a good photo and there is a no tresspassing sign, I suddenlly develope a severe case of illiteracy!
