.....yesterday I drove north to Leeds in Yorkshire - the motorway takes you right over the Pennine Hills with breathtaking views for miles. On my way back I came off the motorway and drove through Huddersfield and over the Saddleworth Moor which is what you see here. It is very bleak in bad weather but in good weather it is beautiful!

Great posting, the red car just adds a little bright color to the rest of the image, a very good shot.

Patti - Great color, nice style, but the red car is really too far away to be appreciated. Although, the local you are traveling thru is very interesting. I think it would be a great spot for picnic lunch. Why are there no trees? . Looking thru your gallery, I noticed You do not like to sit still do you? Good shot. Do more please.

Trying to create good pictures, I feel as if I am standing on the edge of Insanity. There was a door. I found myself knocking on the door. The door opened. I was knocking from the inside. Oh Darn!

How did you go from pennies to gold??(title) Pretty good trade! LOL Oh! PenniNE! I got it now! Another good one offered up here by you Patti! This freminds me somewhat of driving through Montana over here in the US, except a few more hills. Same type of beautiful landscape for miles however! Nicely captured Patricia!

I agree with Kidder...a lot like the west here across the pond, but since I've never been to Montana, I can't speak to that particular topography. The colors are vibrant and I can see you get prettier Novembers than we here in New England do...lucky you and lucky us that you're here in the Caedes family sending out pics :)PJ

I really can't add anything to what has been said, so I just put it on my desktop. Is that OK? And in my favorites. And the red car is not on the wrong side of the road, he's just driving in reverse :o)

That is pretty. Those dark deep rich colors are a pleasure to view. The sky is very natural looking also. Only one thing-do you people realize that you are driving on the wrong side of the road? (ducks and runs)

nice capture, my only critique would be trying the photo without the car in it. I think that maybe eliminating the car from the shot would enhance its already great qualities. Happy Shooting, -brian
