...the sun playing on the top branches of the trees - I have tried some different framing for this one. The photograph was taken on my walk through the deeeeeep dark woods in Styal :O last Saturday - and I lived to tell the tale! ;)

Very pretty how the sunlight is playing on these branches emphasizing the rich color of the wood. I would have been looking over my shoulder the deeper I ventured into these woods Patti. Very pretty post.

I love the picture, it's great. Just not crazy about the frame, too distracting. You were lucky to get home...apparently you haven't heard about Jack the Tripper who lurks in the deep woods...he waits for people to come along and then trips them...you were lucky to have come out of there without being tripped.

At least you didn't title it something like "Blood Red and Coming Down". Very good, but I too, am not too sure about the framing. Glad to see you made it out though.

Gorgeous shot, Patti! I love the play of light you were able to capture. A scene like this always makes me stop and take it in. The framing you chose was perfect too!
