...and here we are heading back towards the Monsal Head Viaduct which once carried trains travelling from Bedford to London. Looking up over the Viaduct to the right you will see a little white building - that is where you will find a nice little pub and if you prefer a cafe which offers views over the valley. sooooo..... head to the left up a sharp path through the trees, then over the Viaduct and up another steep path through the woodland on the other side - just 10 mins walk, unless you need to stop and rest on the bench half way up! ;)

Sorry to say, I'll need the bench! I love all the rich greens you're getting on this series. Keep 'em coming.

No I'll pass on the bench.......Owd Bob will probably be asleep on it. LOL You lead the way and I'll just follow........I know you can find a pub. LMAO Great job Patti, this is truly nice. I like the kind of overcast days when things seem a little more subdued.

Such a wonderful capture Patti and I believe I'll head left to the cafe and see about grabbing a sandwich and a soda and just enjoy the view over the valley. I'll catch you later and thanks for taking us on your walk.

If one regards that green "finger" at the middle left, it appears to literally float above the water........always beautiful these bucolic shots

Very nice again. Just a loverly scene. Did you set the camera on the timer and 'sprint' down there and stand with that guy?

You have such a good eye for easy-to-look-at angles and interesting soft surroundings on which to display them. I love the way you see what nature presents and how you handle that camera of yours to bring it to the rest of us:)

Someone mention a bench?....'Where'!...and a pub too?.....Whoa, hang on there..I'm a coming down!

Very pretty angle you captured this at Patti!.....Love the water reflections....very similar to our 'Hownsgill Viaduct'...But ours is far higher! and NO benches?...
Your series has been tremendous, and I have enjoyed every one!

Wonderful composition and perspective Patti, you got the curve of the riverbank just right. It looks chilly but beautiful.
