....I think the picture speaks for itself and it might just be my imagination, but then again I always was a dreamer! (the image is all about the old man walking off into the distance - so the memories are not mine). The woodland path around the top of the Monschsberg Hill in Salzburg.

If I would have known you were behind me, I would have turned around and said "HI". Very good Ms Fogz, and another outstanding job on the framing. Thanks. ;-)

This wonderful picture makes me wish, he really had wonderful memories and enjoyed his walk. Or he was just a ten minutes walk away from his wife and family. Very romantic image. You are great in touching me.

lol@Marzena...yup, Jerry had that one coming..lol...I certainly hope that your dreams of this man's reflections were correct and that his memories were sweet, but alas, as we all know no one's life is lived without some tragedy, so I'd have to believe that they may have been bittersweet. Great capture. The colors were done very well as was the framing and placement of those pesky, but lovely, verticals :)

What a beautiful scene. The colors are so complimentary of each other. The shadows and lighting are superb. I normally don't like people in these type pics but the lonely man wallking into the distance works for me in this capture. Great job.

Hi there Patti....I really like the vertical crop/framing that you did on this. It gives the image that 'real time' feel. Like I am there watching the man walk down the path. Good eye for a good capture. Very tasteful and classy. Thanks for sharing this with me ;=)

I bet once you uploaded the horizontal version the c-index would be much better. The vertical one would be also very nice provided we wouldn't have to add any extra borders here in Caedes.
The woodland scenery is one of my favourites, the path seems so quiet and inviting. And furthermore - my favorite season...

Your image and composition of ... along with title ... readily conveyed what your narrative said.

I might have been tempted to leave the type off of the border area. Vertical shots are challenging at best ... let alone adding in some type.

Good clarity and detail.

But the overall balance in composition is the star element of this image for me.

I like it ... and thank you for sharing and stimulating my thoughts.
