.....an image from my 'might post someday' folder as the weather is dire! ;) photograph from late Oct of the little village of Great Budworth. The cottages date back several hundred years and the village was once part of the great estate and belonged to the owners of Arley Hall - a great mansion closeby. Now if you wander down this street you have a choice when you reach the end - you can either pop into the church if you feel the need or you can join me in the George and Dragon, the village Pub, which is just around the corner to the right! (nearly every village has one) lol!

Think I'll join you in the pub. I'll even buy a couple of pints - very good view of the buildings in this shot, thanks.

yep no people and I didn't clone any out either. This is a very pretty little village and I have to say even though it was very sunny, I saw only half a dozen people walking through the village - must be a sleepy village - it was mid-afternoon after all! Too quiet for me - I felt like shouting "Wakey Wakey - come out and play!" lol!

What a quaint street, and as others have said, I'm glad you saved it for a "rainy" day. I'll just ask that gentleman who looks like he's about ready to go into the church anyway to put a slip into the collection box..I'm already waiting with Kidder over in the pub :)
