....this is where we are heading - look over the fields and you will see that the land drops down into the distance into Hope Valley in Cressbrook (Derbyshire UK) and see the fields are divided off by dry stone walls - it is all downhill from here onwards - it is easy, but you will need some steam to get back up here! lol!

Lovely shot, Patti...we have a lot of the dry stone walls around here in northern New England, but I think yours are much neater..well, as I'm looking out the back door at the one behind my house, it sure could use some straightening up..lol..oh, and thanks for the info. :)

Such a vast space to watch and study ...
One day I might consider purchasing a new camera in order to be able to take such fascinating landscape shots but where does one acquire SUCH amazing skills and talent like yours LOL
*sighs with slightly traceable envy*

Wow, those walls amaze me, is there a stone/rock wall company to do these, or does each landowner do his own. Fabbu fogz.

I like the sky the way it is as it emphasizes that fantastic green of the wonderful English countryside. And I LOVE drystone walls.

Oh Wow ... I had a preview of this in the VB. Never connected it to our little hike through your countryside. So I hiked over here to see it again. Fantastic view you've captured here. There's just something about stone walls amidst a lush green landscape that bowls me over. To sum up I'll paraphrase an old Sammy Cahn, James Van Heusen melody ... "Hikings Wonderful ... the Second Time Around" :o)
