....right down into the Wye valley in Derbyshire is the little village of Cressbrook and look what I have found - a church like structure and a sign - coffee shop!! :) (sorry no beer lol!) soooo this is where I took a break. This building, known as Cressbrook Chapel, sits beside Cressbrook Mill and it is where the child mill-workers were given religious education. There is a very small entrance, and a little shop selling coffee which you can drink on the terrace outside or just huddle around the little paraffin heater inside (it reminded me of my Grandma's house - she always had these kinds of heaters when I was a child). The building also sits alongside the river Wye and because there has been so much rain the river is very high and you can hear it rushing along. After my coffee I walked down to take a closer look.

Great perspective Patti - lovely clear stonework and I love the blue reflection in the windows.
My coffee shop is nowhere near as posh :)

Posh is definitely the word and I wonder if they sell high-end coffee as well. I like some of the flavored varieties, but I'm afraid I would have been sneaking a brew from Kidder's stash if he'd only thought to bring it..lol..nice post, Patti.
