...and here you have it - the view from Cressbrook to Monsal Dale - this is where we walked - my car was parked in the far distance on the top of the hill. Remember the view which looked from that point across the hill on the left. The coffee shop and the waterfall are far in the distance and you can clearly see Netherdale Farm in the centre of the photograph, the big huggy tree and the bridge we crossed. Just look how swollen the river is and compare the view to the one we saw on Christmas eve when it was so foggy. So now you know why you are so tired, but get your energy back- have some coffee (or beer) and then we will be off down there over the Viaduct again and down to the left to take some photos under the Viaduct - where did they all go!!! lol (photo Monsal Dale, Derbyshire)

Excellent view from up here! I hope the farm doesnt get flooded as close to the water as it is! That was quite a walk but at least my clothes dried off by the time I got here! Now just that little(??) trip back to the car! *wonders if the farm has a horse he can borrow..*

A question: Are there many routes so people can shop for groceries, etc &.how far from a "major" city-eg,population over 50.000?? Merci.A.

Patti,
I had a bad 'flu', so I wasn't able to comment on your work for some time. Today I made a restart by saying that this capture is another beautiful photo in your 'Derbyshire' series. Thanks & regards, Cornelius

I have to agree with DERAIN...it looks as though you live waaay out in the country and except for the few little villages with the great pubs, there doesn't seem to be a huge population base, but I'm loving it and the walking series..I've gained five pounds of muscle and lost 10 pounds of fat..lol..great shot, Patti.

This is soooo beautiful. I love it. The valley, the river, the 'greenity' of it. Is Netherdale Farm an actually working farm, and if so how long has it been there?
