......and the village is Hambleden. As I was approaching my destination on Saturday morning I stopped to take this photograph - it is such a picturesque place and nestled in a valley in the Chiltern Hills.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour

WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Nice that they all decided on a color scheme before building the town..it's lovely, Patti..and your pic is great with all that shadow play that I love so well.
It surely does look nestled Patti. Terrific composition and clarity. The lighting is very well done and it seems a peaceful place to see from afar. Nice work Patti.
This is such a lovely town. I know, I would go crazy after a few days, since I am so much used to the big city, but I would love to visit it for a while. You captured it perfect. It is a wonderful and clear shot with lots of details.
Gorgeous area, the Chilterns - Hambleden is such a peach of a place! Very much the richest of rich, but they have preserved a wonderful part of the countryside. I remember the Mill and weir fondly and picnics - ah well!
Lovely shot of how green it all is!

A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile
the moment a single man contemplates it,
bearing within him the image of a cathedral.
