.....now all those who turned left at the sign yesterday stayed with me and climbed Solomon's Tower! All those who went right took a walk over the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, but the sun was going down and it would soon be dark - so hope you did't get lost and had torches with you! lol! This is the view we saw from the top of the tower and you can see that it is getting dark but can still catch glimpses of the low sun across the countryside and beyond you will see part of a town, which is Buxton.

I knew I should've turned left.........and my torch went out too. A lion isn't safe out here alone at night......too many wild animals. LOL Very nice view from the top Patti, I'll follow you next time. :-)

A great view and I enjoyed it being one of the more clever ones that went to the left. But then what do you expect from a genius?

Well, yes it did get a little dark Patti! I thought having a lion along would help...Ha! Some help the big scaredy cat! Oh..and that thing about starting a fire by rubbing two sticks together? Doesnt work..*goes off mumbling about blisters on his hands*..Nice shot Patti! Real pretty! Now..how about waiting up for me?? lol

WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

I am one of the clever ones, so I had to walk and walk and walk, while my husband sits in a pub (he would have found one), has a nice beer and a shaking lion on his lap. Well, well. But the view is fantastic.

This looks like the perfect spot to lie on your back and watch the skies. The grass looks so soft and inviting -
