......so where do you think I took this photograph? Switzerland? Austria? Greece? ;) jk! haha! nope! guess again! ...well OK didn't have time to board a plane and I got a surprise too - and of course it does tell you on the photograph so anyone still guessing go to the back of the class! lol! There is no snow here at my home, but there were heavy snowstorms (heavy as in English terms ;)) during the week and today I headed towards Derbyshire expecting to find it had melted! I was so excited that there was so much snow around! It was quite a misty day too so lots of mist hanging over the hills! this is in colour not B&W by the way. ....now I am off to build a snowwoman! ;)

Great shot Patty, the mountain disapearing in the fog/snowclouds like that.
A real cool image. Yes we had 5cm of snow here to last Thursday ! i wanted to build a snowwoman to, but when i got home after work at 9:00 pm, all was already rained away. Just a half day of snow is all we got this year.

Very nice, Patti. The scope of this pic is all encompassing and those colors are more of what we're having here...well, we have about a foot of snow, more or less. The mist on the mountains makes this even more special.

You got what we have had...mostly gone now, washed away by the heavy rains we have!
Terrific picture though, hope that's the last of it!

Nice capture Patti and glad you're not buried in the snow. I love the way more snow seems to be coming in from the distance here and the composition is great. Lovely sight. Thanks.
