........as in hill! ;) I didn't venture too far up Mam Tor hill yesterday as it was late afternoon and you can see how low the mist was - this is only part way up the hill before you get to the serious climb (for me! ;)) I loved the effect the mist and snow together created! I hope I captured some of the atmosphere here! :)

This is really mystery and also very beautiful. The Beatles would love you for giving this image that name. Great job.

Wow, Patti, that tree to the left looks like it's been through some tough times, either that or it came straight from the Wizard of Oz movie..lol..look at the convolutions on the branches, one that's broken, and since it has to grow on the side of a Tor (hill?) it looks like it's had to scrabble to stay upright all its life. I love the other parts of the upload, but that tree has me fascinated for some reason.

Now this is my kind of day, Patti - I love it. The path disappearing into the mist would have forced me down it just to see what lie ahead. Great image -

Boy did you EVER capture the "atmosphere" ... my kind of winter scene ... one I can enjoy sitting at the PC with a hot chocolate and cookies. Love this capture ... the lane fading into the snowy mist is just wonderful. Can almost sense the chill in the air. If I see this in the VB ... you get an extra point just for going out in that weather to bring this image to couch potatoes like ... moi! :o)

Very nice Patti, I love fog or mist as you call it. It just has a air of mystery and the unkown about it. Great job my dear.

So that is where 'me mam' comes from :)

This is a wonderful shot Patti - you have captured the essence of winter in a magical mysterious image, so the title fits perfectly as well.
