.....that means you! lol! the ghosts that walk this path, the echoes of the past, the history that you feel just being inside this castle sends shivers down your spine and the hairs stand up on the back of your neck! The sky is real - I focused on the sky and the foreground of course was way too dark, so I have increased the gamma to bring out the detail. I quite like the contrast between the bright sky and the darkness of the castle walls. .....now ....where were we? ....yes - off to the dungeons!!!....

This is something that I have yet to learn when you are presented with a difficult lighting situation. You take two or three images with out moving the camera (same aperture but different speed each time is what I have been told) and then combine the images in photo shop. Wallah! Perfect photograph. I have yet to do it but I need to practice that. Is that the entrance to a real dungeon? Looks foreboding. Good capture.

Oh Patti, just worked on your image, shifted the gamma button as well, and i was content with it. Then returning to your image and text, i already saw you did this.
To be honnest, and mind you, it may be my monitor, but the foreground is totaly black. What do you see ? here no detail shows, the sky is perfect blue with white clouds, but the rest is totaly blacked out. (if you like, i can upload a edited version, what would look right on my monitor, i wonder how that would look on your screen)
