I have ridden the carousel at Myrtle Beach many a time in my younger days Patti. They have a way of bringing back memories and bringing out the kid in all of us. Very pretty and colorful post.
Oh I thought for sure it was a box of chocolates. Damn....oops sorry for my vulgarity. :-) This is very nice too Patti, but ridin' on that WITH a box of chocolates would be sheer heaven. LOL
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour

Patti, this is a beautiful colourful merry image. A caroussel is mainly 'happiness' for children (Althoug,.....). I assume that an image with some happy children on the horses, could made your image even better (more dynamic). Regards, Cornelius
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

hmmm.... interesting, not only you drive the wrong side of the lane, your carousels also spin the wrong direction .... hmmm ;o)
happy and colorful capture Patti :o)
Lovely - it looks a real old timer Patti, and what does Hans mean, the wrong way? - lol its going the right way ! Its a picture full of happiness and colour.
I wanted to go on the one on the Pier at Blackpool, it is an old beauty too, but my family premised to disown me if I did :( They felt the same about the fortune teller as well :(
I tell you, most of your images make me happy and so does this one. It is a very beautiful old looking carousel and your capture of it is clear and sharp like always. Thanks for making me happy so often.
Oh Patti, I love this! So colourful and playful. The composition and lighting are wonderful and the great clarity finishes it beautifully. A very uplifting capture. :)
Well, I think that I have the "bugs" out of this computer. I am using a new (to me) version of PE3 thanks for waiting & I'll try and post more often now. ;-)

Boy, does this bring back memories. This was always my favorite ride at the fairgrounds when I was a kid, especially because I loved horses. Great post.
