......meet my friend - I don't know what his name is, but he came to see what I was up to when I was taking photographs today, then proceeded to follow me wherever I went! lol! Today I climbed a hill (more photos later) then visited the little village of Ilam (pronounced Eye-Lam) which is just over the border of Derbyshire in the county of Staffordshire. This little village is hidden away among the hills - beautiful old buildings and small cottages - alongside a river with quaint bridges and small waterfalls! what more could you want! - hmmm no properties for sale! There is a beautiful old residential building for young people and I am in the garden here looking down towards the church. The dog is residential here too - he seemed right at home. I expect as soon as I left he went in search of his next companion! lol!

The church is outstanding in this. Neat architecture. The hills and fields are wonderful. I don't know why but my first thought was that the dog was PS'ed in. Superb composition including the stone wall on each side. Do you know what the colorful tree is just right of the church? A definite keeper.

Another Great Capture Patti. I would have taken that dog home. He looks really friendly. After a week you could have returned him for a Reward. How do you think I got those shots of "Lucky" ? LoL !

A fine pic ere Mizz Fogz. Very nice. The dog wouldn't have followed you if you had taken the hamburger out of your purse. Or were you wearing dirty socks?

Patti, I think it's a Caedes-member and read in the description of one of your images that he was invited by you for a walk. It must have cost him some time to find you, as he seems to be tired. (lol). Not only a interesting image but cute as well. Regards, Cornelius

So sad..mom used to tie a pork chop around my neck just so he would play with me..what memories!! (*wipes tear away) LOL Great looking old estate here Patricia, not to mention the church!
