....a capture from yesterday evening - I went for a very short walk (hobble ;) lol!) in Styal Country Park which is just a short distance from my home. The Park is mostly woodland and small rivers and ponds and also home to Styal Mill.

Patti, in Holland we have the saying 'Wat van ver komt is altijd lekker' (What comes from far away is always nice). To me you you have proven with this image that this Dutch saying is not correct. Regards, Cornelius

Such a lovely evening light. I am glad, you were able to hobble there and show us the beauty around you, but I hope you do take care of yourself.

Nice shot Patti. I like the sunlight caught on the pines adding the final touch to this tranquil scene.
Hope the leg gets better soon!

Lovely evening shot Patti. I too like the sunlight on the trees. You have captured the evening light to perfection.
I had forgotten the nice long twilights you have there until I came back :)

Oh just lovely, but i guess i have to use my imagination just a little here Patti.
I think that in real life the sunlight on the trees was twice as nice as the camera could picture... This is certanly no critic, just beeing aware of how light meters work.
Am i right ?
