......yes it is the Acropolis! ;) ok! not quite! lol! - it is The National Monument which was modelled on the Acropolis in Greece and is situated on Calton Hill in Edinburgh - home to monuments modelled on some of the most famous Greek architecture and known as 'Athens of the North' - not a lot of people know that, not even our resident Greek Caedesian! ;)

very good, Miss Patti. I like the angle you did this at to bring out all the trees. However, why are they all leaning to the right?

It's a Greek to me.....what do I know? Like a ship passing in the night...frost on a window...bottom of a beer bottle...walking in a fog...wearing dark glasses...yakity yak...on and on....

You do capture the most beautiful skies, Patti. I like the perspective on the monument and landscape and also the trees leaning to the right. Gorgeous colours and clarity on this beautiful image. :)

The Romans where everywhere 2000 years ago, but now i see you had the Greeks on visit as well hehe he

The image is crisp and clear, i specialy like the overhead blue tones, all the way from top left to the water color on the right, a very nice image.

Great shot is a lovely temple
Here in Portugal the city of Evora have a very similar temple, known as Diana's Temple.
