......it needs no fancy title - the bird itself is beautiful, elegant and captivating - hope you like this one, captured yesterday at Redesmere Lake in Cheshire.
Did John the Lion Boy name this? Nice pic...I know you spent hours coming up with the title. I spent 6 or 7 on 'Trees'. I just did one of a Swan...if I post it I'll just call it a Long Necked Duck. Good work.

Did you shoot him with your squirt gun Patti?? That wasnt very nice! LOL Very pretty swan my friend! Nice job on the frame too! Initials are new arent they? Looks good! C):-)
Honest to goodness, fogz-ey. Putting a poor, defenseless bird on a treadmill and making him run for an hour. Worked up quite a sweat. This is terrific, Patti. Nicely done.
I really can't add anything to what has been said. The frame, well, I don't really not like it, but maybe it can have some work. Another great shot though, young lady. ;-)
I am sorry that this weekend I didn't get to comment on all the photos. I took a weekend trip and when I got back there were plenty. Hopefully the photo's I took and am posting will somehow make up for it. Smile

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

An unusual composition with the shadows so strong and oblique that the swan's neck looks almost black! I like the water droplets on his face looking so clear. Nice work!
So elegent looking Patti. The lighting and waterdroplets on the head, all of it make a perfectly composed post. Very well done and so glad you shared it. Thanks.
After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
It is really a great shot of a very beautiful swan. I am not that much in love with the frame, since it looks a bit to hard for me, but thats just my personal taste.
Everyone seems to be in accord on this one, Patti. I do like the frame myself. Seems to be something I'm doing a lot these days...just seems to finish it off some how.
