.......a pheasant I captured patrolling the grounds at Chatsworth House - it looks like he has been 'shaking a tail feather' - none to be seen! ...poor guy! lol! hope he grows a new one! I could see he was thinking I was getting tooo close and he quickened his pace and disappeared over the wall into the house garden.

Patti, I've tried to capture many times a pheasant in the fields, but I was always too late: before I could capture him, he was already disappeared. To me you were very lucky as you succeeded in making this beautiful capture. Well done. Regards, Cornelius

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

Well, I'd run too if someone had pulled out my tailfeathers at some point!!! I hear they are really delicious, never having eaten one myself, but I suppose this is protected as it lives where it does. Nice capture.
