.....another view of the peaceful setting around historic Lyme Hall in Cheshire. The building to the left is the conservatory which is filled with plants and statues. The hall is to the left of where I am standing and as previously mentioned, the lake is famous as being the location in Pride and Prejudice, where Darcy emerged from the lake.

And I saved it too. There's something magical about a mound of flowers emerging from that lake...brings us back to the idea of Pride and Prejudice, I suppose. Great upload.

Basic photograpy lesson nr 1 :remove your lenscap..
This is a lovely shot Patti. I like the flowered island in the lake, the house peeping in from the left and the dangling branches of the oak tree - all add their own statements to some good colours and a clear image. One can almost sense an orangery in the house somewhere nearby, serving some good coffee and cake!
