......his expression says it all! lol! Today I was at the Gauntlet Birds of Prey Park and met this very handsome Bald Eagle! This is the full picture - no cropping he was within 2 feet of me in the open! It was amazing to be so close to such a beautiful bird!

Excellent Capture Patti of this Immature Bald Eagle. I can tell it's an Immature because it's head feathers still have some dark in them. 10.

Superb image, Patti. I've seen a number of close-ups of bird heads where the plumage looks good but there is some little imperfection of the beak or the eyes that spoils the shot. However, this one is just perfect!

Beautifully sharp at the beak and eye. Love the catchlight that just brings him to life on the screen. Of course the close crop is a bonus. Excellent color. Nicely blurred background. As often happens with a wide f-stop his feathers are not tack sharp but in this case it actually enhances the effect of the bright eye and sharp beak. Nicely done! anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. FREE website to share all your snaps plus a whole lot more. Thanks for giving honest and usable feedback. Blessings to all, anne :-)
