...........today you are in for a treat - we are visiting an historical building described by Pevsner as 'the English castle par excellence', Haddon Hall. The earliest part of the building, the Chapel, dates right back to the 12th century. Last year the hall was used as a film location for the BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre and presently they have costumes from the film on display throughout the hall.

I waited hours for this image to come. Than you tell me, you go to sleep and what happens? The image is online. And it is just great. I love that old castle.

I like the overall photo Fogz, but I don't believe this one is up to your usual standard. I guess I'm wired differently, too...I think I'd prefer to see more of the castle with the trees used around the frame of the photo.

Great shot Patti :) I watched the BBC Jayne Eyre just a few weeks ago - a splendid adaptation.
I like the way you have preserved a bit of mystery with the natural framing by the trees.
