.....late Saturday afternoon after visiting Haddon Hall I called off at Monsal Dale and walked some way down the river through the woodland and back along the grassy banks towards the Viaduct .....I know you lazy lot will be in the pub, so just get the drinks in and I will be there soon! lol! you can see how the seasons have changed the appearance of the dale by comparing this photograph.

The one thing I really noticed between the two pics., are those brownish fuzzy looking lumps that have grown up in this shot! Some kind of toadstool no doubt! LOL All seriousness aside ;), this is a beautiful place and I do recall your other shot of it. The grass was almost as green then as now! Much more foilage in this one making it an even more scenic photo! How far is it to that pub now?? C):-)

What a difference the seasons make. This is a beautiful view and composition. I love the soft colours and the bridge and houses. It's very lovely. :)

I am not too happy with this picture. The first one I posted was a bit blurry, this one is too sharp and seems to have lost a lot of colour in uploading it .....so I will replace it at a later date. The one I have on file is better quality - maybe I need to boost the colour a bit and sharpen less. ...see now I am giving myself an honest appraisal! lol!
