.........and a view from the Monsal Head Viaduct which I eventually climbed up to after walking along the river you see below. ....I walked down the river on the left through the woodland then back up the river on the grassy banks .....that was until I came across this herd of young cows, one of which decided she was going to be a bull and came at me with her horns down! lol! .....I took a detour round to the right behind some more bushes to make my way up, falling at one point but despite banging my knee I managed to keep my precious camera in the air! lol! Remind me to avoid cows in the future! ;)

Cows can be very scary...they're not afraid at all and very very curious..did I tell you about the time..lol...I have some farm stories and a lot end up the same way yours did. Great pic..love the way the colors came out and the perspective is wonderful. What a great way to stay in shape and pursue your hobby at the same time. If I could see anything but trees on a jaunt like this, I would be tempted too :)

Now see, this is why you are so deserving of the Artists Spotlight...you sacrifice life, limb, and scuffed knees for us!! I love this view of the river...it cuts the right through all the green. Nice job saving your camera too...I can just imagine what your acrobatics looked like!!!

Probably not a good idea to be wondering the country side after visiting the pub, lol. No wonder you fell! Lol. But it was worth the hike, great shot.

I'm impressed...you worked pretty hard for this lovely shot! Cows look deceptively friendly LOL This looks like a great place to sit and dangle your feet in the river (if not for the evil cows!)
