..........the landscape around Ullswater Lake in Cumbria is one of the most beautiful sights I have seen! - breathtaking mountains and hills are on every side of the 6 mile long lake. This is just one of many I took on the steamer boat ride from Glenridding to Pooley Bridge - The intermittent cloud and mid afternoon sun created some lovely light across the landscape!

I'd have to say it rates right up there with some of the other places you have shown us that for sure Patti! Awesome looking countryside! I like the way you included the farm; it gives us a good idea as to the massive size of this place! A real beauty! C):-)

Just lovely fogz, when I tried to take pictures from a boat, either it was bobbing around or I was, this is terrific.

The play of light in this is just jaw dropping Patti. Your including the farm and buildings in this really gives us a sense of just how large these mountains are. Simply beautiful!!!!

Patti, in Holland we have the saying: 'Goede wijn behoeft geen krans.' It's hard for me to translate it in English, but I'll give it a try: 'Good wine needs no bush.' (hope it's correct) Therefore I don't comment further on this image. Regards, Cornelius
