..........one of the boats on Ullswater Lake, Cumbria, ready to leave Glenridding. This is not the boat I sailed on - it was larger and had open sides. The owner of this boat was obviously very patriotic - flying three flags! lol!

Very nice job Patti, does the boat you were on just take you around the lake for sight seeing or does it take you to the other side......and do you take your car if it does ??

You gotta represent where you came from!! I really like how you presented the boat coming in the shot from the right...really works well. The rest of the scene is perfectly done, as usual!!

In answer to John's question ...this boat takes people around the lake for sight seeing. The boat I went on went from one end to the other ferrying people across the lake.

Patti, think that with three flags there isn't any problem to determine from which country this boat comes. I had some doubts whether we should give the owner the advice to fly an extra flag or not (lol). Beautiful capture of a beautiful evironment. Regards, Cornelius

Good shot Patti: the tapestry of subtle shades of green is counterpointed very well by the boat here; very nicely composed.

Man vs Nature once again but they play well against each other in this. I hope the shores aren't lined with docks and homes somewhere on this beautiful lake. Beautiful image -

Very nice. We went on such a boat trip also this year and your image brings some memories back - well, without the british flags of course. Smile.
