..........and this is the wider road (lol!) after we turned left heading for Glenridding and Ullswater Lake. It has two lanes and not one and of course everyone sticks to the right side which is the left! ;) The small lake you see in the distance is Brothers Water, not Ullswater which is further along the road! The landscape is amazing here rising high on each side and the road bobs here and there and up and down! It is like a roller coaster ride! :)

Is that my left or yours?? As we face the picture or looking out from it? The right side or the wrong side?? LOL See, now you got me confused! I now it wasnt that hard was it? lol This looks like a very fun & scenic drive Patti! Just keep 'er under 100..John gets car sick. lol Pretty as a picture Ms. Fogz! C):-)

Now Dans got me confused too LOL. I'll have to remember not to let Dan drive here that's for sure LOL. It would be hard for me to keep my eyes on the road from wanting to look at this gorgeous countryside.

These are the roads i like to drive during my hollidays ! we certanly do not have them overhere, that is for sure, all flat here, so such bends in the road would not make any sence here :-) but how boring thos straight roads.... GRRRRRR
The lake in the distance looks to be with straight lines though ! it looks like a square !

This is great, the way the road twists and turns on the way down to the bottom of the valley, gives it a good feel of perspective. A great shot.
