very beautiful scenery which you have had the ability to indicate the scale of.i notice how the mountainous backdrop dwarves the sailing boat.best wishes, simon.
Patti, I love the way your pics with grey clouds come out so bright and cheerful, mine always come out miserable and depressing!!! Maybe it's my camera or my work needs touching up...anyway, another cracker, will never get bored with these! Thanks for sharing!
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
It`s a lovely scape, The lighting must have been a bit tough as there`s loads of clouds so you did a great job in getting this with loads of colour without overexposing the sky. Its a great shot Patti!
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
I'm with Mr. Cowardly. I love the sparkles on the waters. I try and try for that effect, but have not had any success so far. Of course your composition is wonderful. You get that right about ...oh 100 percent of the time !! :)

Another great shot Patti. Knowing how the Lake District can be sometimes (rain with a capital "R"!), it's great to see that you had such interesting lighting to work with - and rendered it so well.
A difficult shot with the uncertain lighting!...but it came off terrifically!....We great minds think alike...I have a post of this place today, but a different time and place!...
I have enjoyed your series of the 'Lakes'!....thanks!..Mwaaaah!!!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Patti, were you that busy taking photographs that the boat sailed away without you? Really hope that you don't have to swim to the other side (lol). Wonderful image again! Regards, Cornelius

I love all your pics of this lake and this is no exception...I agree with Paul1972, all your photos that are cloudy still manage to look bright and cheerful. Very lovely! :)
Sorry that I haven't been commenting more. Just got lazy? But I did look at most of them. And again, thanks to all of you for your comments on mine.
