...........and if you were trying to work out just what the city scene was really like before I warped it into a fishbowl, here it is all neatly unfolded and pressed. lol! There is a real mix of architecture here with the victorian terraced building opposite, the small white building to the left which is several hundred years old, the ultra modern Urbis building in the distance and of course Manchester Cathedral which is visible behind the buildings to the left.

Hustle and bustle going on here! I`m not sure if I like that Urbis building but I`m not a big fan of that kinda architecture. It`s a good street scene here. You seem to have been quite high up to get this. Tell me it wasn`t a lampost? lol

Coffee??? I thought you only drank tea over there! (And ale) Nice shot! That very modern building (the Urbis) looks a lot like a ship's stack. Nice work :)

Quite the view of the old and the new. People watching is always fun anyway. I've got to ask you what those "squiggly" lines are on the road. At first I thought they were parking indicators, but I can't figure them out. I'll subscribe so you can answer here in case anyone else was curious. Lovely shot, Patti, and I'm glad you decided to iron this one out for us !! :)

I like this even more than the fishbowl Patti. There's so much of interest going on here and the lighting and colours are great.
PJ: the squiggly lines mean no parking (because there's a pedestrian crossing nearby) - we're so sedate here in England! Lol!

I think you know, how much I love architecture. So I am very happy about that image. And I also enjoy seeing that wheel again.

A wonderful collection of different types of architecture. Is the wheel whatsit a temporary addition? I dont remember seeing it but then sometimes I miss things -- although that is a bit large to miss lol. great to see this as is although I loved your manipulation work.
