........it is like someone has taken a brush and painted the fields and hills - the view from the top of 'Hen Cloud' (in Staffordshire) across the back hills is quite beautiful with its fields of heather and rich greenness - so much rain this Summer has meant we have rewards in other ways like these views!

That's a gorgeous farm scene. I'm curious. I know that very few people actually own land in your country. So, who owns all that expensive farm land? I like the image. I found myself wandering around in the picture for a long time. Nice.

Fields of Lavender!! is that not heather!...A beauty if I ever saw one!....The heather up here is very proliff...Proliifre...Prolfiris....~there's plenty of it!!~

You're right. This could easily be a painting. I'm going to have to look up the population over there. The density seems so sparse, or perhaps you're not showing us the busier intersections ? :P

lovely.colour range is subtle and superb.especially like the "dusting"of heather on the rolling ground.reminds me of the n.yorks moors.best wishes,simon.
