Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

What a beautiful sunset. The road is inviting and regardless if it is brick or not and if it is yellow or not, I would want to follow it and see it will lead me to OZ.
Top composition Patti. Wonderful colours on the horizon and loads of foreground intrest and the road leads the eye nicley to the center. If there`s a pub round that corner the drinks are on me. Excellent shot.
Wow not too bad for not being a yellow brick road, I'll keep my eyes open though.....otherwise people honk at me and I hit things. LOL Great colours Patti, a beauty of a shot.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
My 'puter crashed the other day so I'm trying to get my new one up and running. ;-( This new OS (Vista) is going to take some getting used to. Sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to. ;-)

My favorite one of yours in quite a while! And that's definitely saying a lot! Shall I mention the L word? Love the lines!!! Alrite I mentioned 2 L words. But seriuosly, great curves, exposure, colors. +Favs!
I feel anticipation wondering what's around the next curve. Road looks winding and you helped to give it that feel. Love the gorse? in the foreground and the hills in the far distance.
Good composition.
Sorry to all...I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to lately. I'm a 9 to 5er again (actually more like 8:15 to 7:30 these days!!) Don't worry, I still see all of your wonderful posts, if only for a second.
So you've gone from hobbits to munchkins eh Dorothy? Very nice this one, there's strong composition with some original bits - I like the line of pink flowers on the left only and the way you've kept the sunset / sunrise subtle by obscuring it with the tree. Makes it look like there's something very special just down the way. I'd certainly skip down the road hand in hand if I was there!
I knew this was yours as soon as I got it the VB!...Wonderful and very delightful to look on!....Bet you don't get stuff like this where your going?...
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

This is so beautiful! I love the flowers on the verge. The last rays of sun paints it all in gold, and the road takes me wherever i want. Wonderful! Goes to my favs. Thank´s for sharing!
Patti, any destination, except 'nowhere', is okay to me. Don't shut my eyes while following this road (too dangerous, lol). Thanks for this wonderful image. Regards, Cornelius.
PS, have a nice time in Spain.
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
How inviting! Let your mind go and your heart to follow. What a wonderful journey it would be. Excellent capture, puts you in the moment! Thanks for sharing this place in time.
Not yellow?!??! So I can't click my heels three times and be back home? Lol. Love the perspective of this shot. Leads the eye and wonders the imagination.
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
This road leads to..... another dead end at the moment knowing my luck! :(
But seriously Patti, this is another brilliant shot from you. You seem to have this skill of turning a simple bit of landscape in to an excellent picture, and this is certainly no exception!!! Great work again.
