I get to be first to comment on this one!! Well it's pure fogz. Strong composition, wonderful light, fantastic view. I was born in Staffordshire, so you're making me proud!
You did it again. Excellent post. Colors, composition and view are fantastic. I like this rock fence. It reminds me of a scene in Shawshank Redemption. It appears to be pretty high there from the road and stock below. Your country has such cool names for everything. Great post.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

That is sooo pretty Patti, I feel like I can see forever.....and forever is a wonderful sight. I also like the stone wall in the foreground shadows......makes the whole piece look much more beautiful with the greens and the browns. Very well done oh royal wonderer, tis truly a dab of heaven on earth. :) +fav

Patti, you certainly live in a gorgeous environment. My poor hard drive is filling up with your countryside! But, once again you have capture the spectrum of beautiful colors and sprayed them about your canvass. Well done!
Superb work, again, Patti!.. you really must put your landscapes togheter in an ALBUM and try to publish it..I'm sure you can make money whith ..!..all your pictures are little masterpieces!!!
Another stunner, Patti. And I see I've already been beaten to it once again by others saying what I too would have said! The DOF in this shot is excellent and that little windy road adds the crowning touch. So when is your landscape album to appear then? :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Patti, think Owd Bob forgot something in his comment by saying only 'and not a pub in sight'. Think he has meant: 'and not a pub and seat in sight' (lol). Wonderful image of a well known quality again. Regards, Cornelius
This has everything in it, Patti. The rock wall, the leaning fence posts, a bit of heather, and a small mountain overlooking a spectacular vista - one of your best = favs -
