......a barber shop in the centre of Manchester - loved the oldness of the whole set-up so took this photograph through the window, hence the reflections and the odd bird in the mirror! lol! I am just wondering what kind of books men read when they are in the barber shop - I am going to zoom in to check them out! :O

Great shot. I liked it when all barbershops looked like this. You captured the feel of days gone by. As far as the magazines, I'm not sure but in the center there is a ....... Oh, never mind. Magazines I'm sure are informative and family oriented. Very nice post.

Is there nothing you cannot shoot? I think I can smell the aromas of the barber shop. I do like the reflections and especially the capturing the photographer. I like the way you go from left to right with dark to light. I also like the frame you surrounded this shot in. By the way, I am sure the magazines are just recent copies of "Photography" magazines popular in your part of the world;)

Great view of this old timey barbershop Patti! You don't wanna know what kind of magazines we read in there. A lady shouldn't see such things, that's for us guys!! LOL! And don't you dare clone yourself out either! That's one of the aspects I love most about this, it adds personality. =)

How funny, I love your commentary and the process that's gone into this...like it's forbidden territory for you and you've taken a sneaky peek. You being in it makes it, don't you dare start cloning!

Patti, as Gerald said above, can see you in the mirror as well, but I can't agree that this is an odd bird. Owd Bob's comment is 'wonderful' again. Nice image, which brought some very funny comments. Regards, Cornelius

Maybe the books are for the barber himself "how to shave" or stuff like that. Nice look into history.
