I like the way you left balcony rails in shot. Gives me the feeling I'm there viewing with you. No wonder you didn't want to leave. I might have slept in a tad later, but then I would have missed this gorgeous sky. This would have been pefect to have seen before I went golfing for the day. Probably the best shot I would have had that day. JK Good post.
It looks as though the landscape goes on forever in this Patti. What a gorgeous sunrise this is. I would love to have been sitting there enjoying a cup of coffee.
I couldn't image seeing the ocean cause I haven't. NOW I can't image seeing the Mediterranean either! But you made it all possible and I thank you. Its just beautiful! :)
This is definitely a postcard view, and I mean it in the kindest way. I feel like you were out there taking these pics while the rest of us were up sorting out clothing and coffee, tea...Great shot and your title sums it all up well. :)
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

In anyone else's pic those railings would be in the way, but you totally made the right call by leaving them in. The light reflecting in them looks great against those soft colours in the sky. Me gusta mucho!

Balcony railing and the sky and the entire composition and the colours plus LIGHT = STUNNING EFFECT ...
*sighs thinking when it was the last time I saw a sunrise on occasion of getting up instead of going to bed*
Anyway I am completely green with envy !!! LOL
Blocking the sun with the rail was a wonderful way to expose this photo perfectly. Straight into my favs Patti, this is one of your best in my opinion.
Would you please take me with you next time - and I will bring Chris with me ... What a lovely view. There is a magazine here, that pays money for the "view of my hotel room". I wish I would ever make such a shot, I would get the money ...
