........no chance of sleeping in when you are greeted with beautiful sunrises every day! I was very lucky when I was in Spain - every morning was sunny! ...shout if you are getting bored! ....hmmmmm I only have about 50 left! ;)

If you look at your picture in thirds, the sea would be a third, the sky would be a third, and dominating sun would be a third. It is a beautiful shot and the red color is so powerful. It looks as though England may never get you back after seeing these wonderful pictures you have been posting.

I'm going to have to get up earlier. I always wondered where the Sun come from. It was always there when I got out of bed and was gone when I went to bed. This is great shot. I have to give you "glowing" marks for this one.

Patti, are you kidding us? Is that a sunrise or sunset image, as I can't believe that you, during your vacation, woke up that early. Think, however, that you you didn't have seen your bed this time of the day, lol. Serious now: I know you're right because this image wasn't taken in Portugal. Wonderful sunrise image! it's most definitely a sunrise (and that was about 7.50ish so not too early in September) and I could not see the sun set - there was a hill in the way! lol! but I could see the sky on fire above the hill when it set, so I will post one of those pictures tomorrow (hmmm today!). Thanks for all the encouraging comments, including the one from drunken Randy! so funny! :)

Well, since in the next year I hope to be getting up about 365 times or so, and I know that most of them will never be to catch a sunrise as lovely as this, I think that 50 more will about fll the bill for me.. What a lovely rising star!
