The cementary depicts the end of life, the turning leaves representing fall or the autumn of our lifes, and then there is the pond where life begins, it is spring. So in just one photo you have told the story of life. Beautifully done.

Very pretty Patti, I'm in the spring of life myself.......and will be for the rest of it. True...my body says older somedays but my mind is more childlike....I look with wonder at some things I never noticed in my youth and then my wilder days when it just moved by sooo fast. I think I'm finally appreciating the beauty of it all and the things that are truly important.......boy does that sound old or what ?? LOL Family, friends, and the harmony of nature that's ours to enjoy everyday if we choose. You do a wonderful job of bringing that to us also..........I thank you for that. :) John

Cock-A-Doodle-Doo I'm no spring chicken by any means anymore I'm like an old rooster that doesn't like to get up a dawn anymore. Judging from your picture, I'd say you're on the spring chicken side of the scale. Love this post with all the little lily pads on the water, the grasses already winterlike and the leaves starting to turn. However I can tell by the part of the tree that has been cut and trimmed, that there is firewood getting ready to warm someone's heart and feet by the fireplace. I hope it's you for payment of this wonderful post.
I, for one, am glad you can't stay serious for a prolonged period of time. Nice post.

Great shot, Patti. That big old oak tree is majestic and the lilypond adds the finishing touch. I see that you very wisely went some distance from that buzzing crowd too!
As to age, I got stuck at 35 and have never moved on since. Much the best way. Lol!
