.......I was back in the Derbyshire countryside today, ...the weather was overcast and there was a slight breeze ....but it was good to walk along the top of Curbar Edge with it's amazing views. It is a few weeks since my last walk - nothing beats the open space and natural surroundings.

Ahh yes, back to the limestone and grasses of Derbyshire. Lovely. You just can't beat that view. Great composition in this one Patti and I love the softness you get into your rural images.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

I've been here, and it's absolutely stunning. You managed to capture the mystery, the fog and the essence of the Derbyshire.

The stark landscape gives a tremendous mood of trepidation!! The foreground really enhances the depth of the view!! Way to go P-gal!!

It's the rich colours of that tough moor grass in the foreground that really make this image - they contrast beautifully against the bright-cloud sky and the sense of distance from the panorama beyond the cliff edge. Very nicely done, Patti!

The title says it all. It is bleak and it is beautiful. Count your blessings that you have so much to work with in the scenery department. As I have said before, you and Bob and others from the UK have given myself and others a whole new outlook on your beautiful country. A keeper.
