.........I was looking through my folders and came across this photograph of Ilam Hall, all ready for posting, but I never did! Taken back in March - I must organise my photographs sometime - I got lost, buried by 1000's of photographs - amazing how many you amass over a year! :)

LOL@Mr. Cowardly. I was going to comment that it's unusual to see a wooden structure made up in this style and then I realized it was just the great light you got on this stone building that made it look warm, like wood.

Glad you go through your photos once in a while...it's good for us!!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

A memory chest filled with Caedes hopefuls. Some face up, some on their sides, some getting slightly bent from the weight of others on top of them. They are standing and dreaming "it's their turn" and for selection, out of the fogz, for inclusion in the party of Caedes. If they are like "Ilam Hall," they should all make the trip to the big time, in time. For they are images from the same creator. And the creator is good and wise and will award the best with a stroke from her beautiful finger and raise the memory chest hopeful from the box of 1000's to inclusion and eternal immortality.

Love the sun on the mellow stone - it's a fine image Patti, glad you rediscovered it.The foreground vegetation makes me feel I am right
there looking across to the building.

Would you like to come and organise mine?
Deciding it was time for a back up I discovered how many pics I had in one folder (the one I upload to) almost 7000,just since Feb. The hopfefuls get moved to another folder so these are just the 'well you never know, I may be able to do something with them one day'. They are mostly complete rubbish, but you never know . .

Lovely Fogz - and I know what you mean about the thousands of pictures. You found a treasure here though, and how you got it so perfectly proportioned for the screen dimensions I'll never know.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
