You did the mallard joke. I was going to start that off with a post called 'You rang mallard'. But I thought people might not get it.
I don't know how you got so much detail into his plumage in this shot Patti, no doubt the wonderful light had something to do with it but all the same your settings must have been just right. Just fantastic resolution given you must have been at the long end of a zoom lens?
