.....one man and his canoe on the River Tiber in Rome. Looking out over the River Tiber from the Sant' Angelo Bridge, I noticed him approaching, ran to the other side of the bridge, focused on the water and waited for him to appear! lol!

I love the reflections and the sense of motion in this one. That looks like Tigz leaf has made it a long ways. Super angle and great eye for photo op.

There's a name for this isn't there - something like 'pre-emptive focus'? It's usually used for wild animals but he doesn't look too wild to me. Apart from your wonderful eye for a photo and the superb angle you've taken this from, I can't get over how he's colour-coordinated his shirt with the canoe!! Brilliant stuff.

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

This are great Thirds and Lines here. A very good work. Leonardo Da Vinci would have done the same.

Good shot Patti! Great colours and sinuously flowing water, and I love the geometric angles of the boat, rowlocks and oars.

Ditto to everything said above. I particularly like the round ripples made by the oar. These just add a certain je ne sais quoi to the whole picture.

Great effort Patti. I certanly do like this one, a very good compo, and i specialy like how the water is clearly reacting to the pedals. To the left the sun shines in the wave, and on the right the circles left by falling droplets show. All in all a very good image.
