....across the moor at Stanton Peak in Derbyshire, this path has likely been trodden for centuries. another experimentation in increasing tone and saturation in-camera and reducing sharpening. However, the heather really is a deep brown and covers most of the moor, so the colour is only slightly emphasised!

Hello Patti, I just knew that this was your work when I saw the thumbnail, it has you "signature" on it. A very nice shot as always and it compliments your other submissions in the "series". Ian

To increase tone and saturation in my little camera, I have to yell at it and soak it in water. Doesn't seem to help. lol Do you need to do any postwork after you have worked with setting in camera? I like the natural look of this, so I assume it is. Very good Patti. I like the way it looks.

At last we know what DCM looks like - :)

Such a lonely looking road, I can imagine the ghosts of bygone walkers trudging along here - nice feeling of isolation captured and I like the results of your experimentation.

Thanks for sharing your point on how you've managed this picture and balance the color set.
Again another shot interesting from your side.
There's a special place in UK I'd like to have some more photos, but I don't know whether you have them available: the Highlands.
Great stuff.

I suppose there's a pub at the end of it if it's well-trodden? Nice rural post, the sky is perfect and I like the way the hill undulates on the horizon.
