.....meet Martha and Gilbert, the nickname for the two giraffe sculptures which stand proudly outside the Omni Centre (cinema, hotel and health spa) in Edinburgh City centre. The sculptures are made of scrap metal from motorbikes and cars by the sculptor Helen Dennerly. The words on the left are inscribed on the paving stones beneath the giraffes feet!

Really nice creation for a desktop. The picture is excellent. The thing that stands out about it, is the reflections off the building. Very nice, Patti.

Good angle and the framing stretches out like the giraffes neck. Reflections are really good as well. Did good on this one Patti. The sculptor would be proud.

Neat-o!! They're sooo cute!! The blue frame is kinda bright to me, maybe something in a more soothing yellow kinda like the buildings in the backdrop?? I really like the poem / thought!!

Love it Patti, the shot, the framing, the words, the lot. Wouldn't have thought you could do something this creative with something that static, but the way you've presented them they almost look like they're alive.
