......a long boat at Poynton Canal on Saturday afternoon - many people own the boats purely for pleasure and some people live on them and have them docked at the side of the canals.
Again Pattie, some wonderful memories stirred here. I can totally recommend this peaceful way of travel to everyone. A very beautiful picture, the light, colours and reflection are great. I love this shot.
They look like they've been built by owners because they're so different and unique. Looks like a relaxing way to spent the days. I like the reflections you got with this one. Looks cold out. Nice photo Patti.
This looks exactly like a slough on the Mississippi River here where I live! Its amazing to see the resemblance!! Except for the boats..they're a tad bit different..lol..Lovely capture Patti!

Wonderful Patti, this sailing long boat. Think my yesterday's comment was wishful thinking see such a post and now it's there. Thanks a lot!!!

One of my very favourite activities. Shows how cold it was too, the way they're wrapped up! You'd never guess from the sky and the sunlight. I think I'd have tried setting the DOF a bit deeper as the front of the boat is slightly out of focus - but you don't have much time to mess about with settings on this type of shot!
